3.4 Go / No-Go Decision

Event Page. Here each Epic/Enabler Owner presents the whole analysis to the Lean Portfolio Management Board that meets quarterly, so that they may take a Go / No-Go decision regarding the Epic/Enabler
Instructions
The Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) Committee is responsible for deciding if the Epic/Enabler goes into the Backlog Column or is discarded into the Done Column of the Portfolio KanBan. All Epic/Enabler Owners present all information regarding their Epic/Enabler, with emphasis on Lean Business Case, Minimum Viable Product, and WSJF information. The LPM Committee should do the following Steps:
STEP 1: Review all information regarding all the Epics/Enablers prior to the meeting
STEP 2: Listen carefully to Epics/Enablers Owners presentations. Use
content material
STEP 3: Discuss any different points of view and document. Change information if deemed necessary
STEP 4: Review WSJF information and change it if deemed necessary
STEP 5: Take a Go / No-Go decision on the Epic/Enabler
STEP 6: Toggle Go / No-Go decision flag accordingly
Prioritization by Weighted Shortest Job First (WSJF)" ...
STEP 7: If it is a Go, reevaluate estimates on Cost of Delay and Job Duration and agree on WSJF
STEP 8: Remember that WSJF will determine priority of the Epic/Enabler
STEP 9: If it is a Go, enter the date in which the Epic is moved into the Backlog Stage and update KanBan Column Stage from "3. Analyzing" to "4. Backlog". Take into account that the Epic/Enabler will dissappear from the Table View below.
STEP 10: If it is a No-Go, enter the date in which the Epic is moved into the Discarded Stage and update KanBan Column Stage from "3. Analyzing" to "7. Discarded". Take into account that the Epic/Enabler will dissappear from the Table View below.
