3.2 Reviewing Stage

Task Page. Here we review, one by one, all the Epics and Enablers generated during the OKR's establishment event. This is a responsibility and a Task for the Epic / Enabler Owner
Instructions
Epic/Enabler Owner is responsible for refining the understanding of the Epic or Enabler. An important part is to create the Epic Description or Hypothesis Statement. It is also necessary to establish preliminary costs to estimate Weighted Shortest Job First (WSJF) index in order to prioritize Epics and Enablers. The Epic / Enabler Owner should do the following Steps:
Reviewing of Epics and Enablers" ...
STEP 1: Draw an Epic/Enabler from the Funnel into the Reviewing Column and start working on it. Do this
. Make sure to enter the date in which the Epic is moved into the Reviewing Stage.
STEP 2: Take into account that the Reviewing Column of the KanBan Board has a WIP limit
STEP 3: Take time to define your Epic/Enabler. Consult with experts on the subject, within the Enterprise
STEP 4: Put special emphasis on Value Proposition as directed. Evaluate and complete other fields as well
STEP 5: Review your work and change or adjust if necessary
Prioritization by Weighted Shortest Job First (WSJF)" ...
STEP 6: Go to the Bottom of the Table and find the Fields for WSJF. Cost of Delay and Job Duration
STEP 7: Estimate Cost of Delay in terms of Business Value; Time Criticality; and Risk Reduction or Opportunity Enablement. Estimate also Job Duration, in Terms of Job Size
STEP 8: Use the fibonacci sequence from the drop down menu in each case. If given fibonacci scale is not enough and an Epic/Enabler should be estimated over 20, it only means that the Epic/Enabler should be divided further for better analysis
STEP 9: Review Prioritization results, compare to other Epics/Enablers, and change or adjust if necessary
