Scope
This SOP is applicable to all video editors within the organization tasked with creating Video Sales Letters (VSLs) and other video projects that require sourced content. This procedure also involves content sourcing officers who are responsible for fulfilling these requests.
1.3 Make a Copy: Select File -> Make a copy to create an editable version for your specific project. Rename the document to reflect the project name and date for better organization.
Step 2: Fill Out the Form
2.1 Project Information: Enter details about the project including the project name, your name, date of request, reference video title, and reference video link.
2.2 Content Requirements: Use the table provided to list all clips and materials needed:
Type: Specify if each item is an organically filmed clip or stock video.
Description: Provide a detailed description of what is needed.
Purpose in Video: Explain how each item will be used in the video.
Special Requirements: Note any specific requirements for each item.
2.3 Additional Materials: Detail any additional graphics, text overlays, or audio files needed and their specifications.
2.4 Technical Specifications: Specify the resolution, file format, and other technical requirements for the content.
Step 3: Review and Submit the Form
3.1 Review the Form: Double-check all entries for accuracy and completeness.
3.2 Submit to Content Sourcing Officer: Share the completed form with the creative director. This can be done via email or a shared drive link. Ensure you set the document permissions to "Can comment".
3.3 Confirmation of Receipt: Request a confirmation receipt from the content sourcing officer to ensure they have received and reviewed the form.
Review and Continuous Improvement
Regularly review the effectiveness of this SOP based on user feedback and changes in project requirements. Update the SOP as necessary to incorporate new tools, techniques, and organizational changes.
