This SOP applies to content sourcing officers responsible for obtaining stock media and other digital resources needed for video production, including Video Sales Letters (VSLs) and related projects.

Detailed Procedure

Step 1: Review the Content Request Form
1.1 Access the Form: Retrieve the latest Content Request Form submitted by the video editors, typically shared via email or a digital collaboration platform.
1.2 Understand Requirements: Thoroughly review the form to understand all the specific needs for stock videos, images, audio files, and other elements. Note the type, description, purpose, and any special requirements for each requested item.
Step 2: Plan the Sourcing Strategy
2.1 Prioritize Requests: Organize and prioritize the content needs based on the project deadlines and urgency indicated in the request form.
2.2 Identify Suitable Sources: Determine the most appropriate stock media platforms and other sources based on the quality, variety, and licensing terms needed.
Step 3: Source the Content
3.1 Initiate Search: Log into selected stock media websites and use advanced search techniques to find assets that match the detailed descriptions and specifications from the request form.
3.2 Evaluate Content: Assess the suitability of found stock videos and other elements by reviewing their quality, relevance, and compatibility with project requirements.
3.3 Acquire Licenses: Purchase or obtain the necessary licenses for the selected stock media. Ensure that the licensing terms meet the project's usage needs.
Step 4: Organize and Deliver Content
4.1 Label and Store: Download and label the sourced media clearly with project identifiers. Organize them into project-specific folders on a secure digital storage platform.
