Do research
0. Plan, even briefly
Set an intention to your research to prevent yourself from wasting time later. Even a brief "why" can help clarify and narrow the research you do.
1. Recruit
Send emails to users to recruit them. Copy the list of potential users to recruit from here, and then filter and assign priority.
2. Interview
See upcoming interviews and take notes for each
3. Immediate reflections
Add your immediate, independent reflections while it's still fresh. Then, see others' and discuss what resonated
4. Review
After you've done all your interviews, review what you and your team have seen and learnt
5. Synthesize
Write the 3-5 biggest takeaways you have, to share with the broader team and company. Time box yourself: even a quick synthesis will make your work higher leverage today + in future months when colleagues ask to review it.
