Storing Data On-Chain

You can also use the pack to push data on-chain!

Just as we can use data that was published on chain to create actions, we can create actions from data created here in Coda or by other packs.
Using our TransactionCreator template, you can push and save text data from any source directly on-chain.

COMING SOON!

Not only will you be able to publish text, but you can immutably store and publish files on-chain, directly from Coda.
No hashes, no third-party server accounts, your transaction and storage are one and the same on the public blockchain!
Below we’ve connected a and filtered the document sync table to only include executed (completed) contracts into the value field. We can then use the button to push each executed contract on chain
We’ve also added some extra rules to enforce security and help things along, for example:
Button: Disable IF Encrypt is not TRUE
Button: Disable IF txID is NOT blank
Type: Value for new rows is always “file”

break
It is critical to understand that information you monitor and publish with this pack is on the public blockchain.
This means anything you publish will be immutable stored on-chain, and cannot be removed.
If you do not encrypt published data, the data will be publicly discoverable forever.
Please be cautious!
