It takes 10+ interactions with a college coach to get a scholarship

Coach’s feed their family by their ability to recruit good players.
→ Recruit bad players
→ Team underperforms
→ Coach gets fired
They cannot take a “flyer” or a “chance” on your kid.
THEY MUST BE SURE.

So a coach isn’t going to see ONE video of your kid, and give you a $50,000 scholarship.

Not going to happen.
They’re likely going to need 10+ interactions with you before they even start considering it.
Interaction = Any sort of impression
→ Video
→ Read your bio on Twitter
→ Email conversation
→ Texting
→ Phone call
→ In-person evaluation
→ Call your coach
→ Visit
This is why you must be EVERYWHERE.

For instance:

You send an email (1)
They watch your video (2)
They follow you on Twitter (3)
They watch more videos (4)
They call your coach for a referral (5)
They hop on a call with you (6)
They come watch you play (7)
They watch more video (8)
They text you (9)
They call you again (10)
They call another coach (11)
They invite you on a visit (12)
They offer you (13)
And this doesn’t include ANY follow ups on your end — which will almost certainly be necessary.

You cannot rush the process.

This is a HUGE decision for them.
It’s almost selfish and disrespectful to assume that they should give you a $50k scholarship after having one conversation with your kid.
This will not happen for 99% of players.
You must make it UNBELIEVABLY CLEAR that your kid is the best & only option.
Like they would be stupid to choose any other player.
If you’re not at that point yet, then you need to give them more evidence.
