Why your kid is not getting the interest or offers that you hoped for
How you can solve this problem (and get on more coaches’ radars)

Reasons that college coaches overlook players

At any given moment, a college coach is...
Coaching his own school team
Recruiting players
Attending school events
Leading school visits
Traveling
Administration & logistics
Family & friends

You cannot assume that talent alone will put your kid on a coach’s radar.

→ Millions of players
→ Hundreds of thousands of teams
→ Tens of thousands of tournaments

Like finding a needle — not in a haystack — but in FIVE HAYSTACKS.

Harsh Truth

There are way more good players than a college coach needs.
Might need 2 — they can find 10
If the coach doesn’t find your kid, they’ll just find someone else.

What you need to do: make sure they find your kid.

Not getting the interest & offers that you hoped for?

Likely because of one reason → Not enough coaches know your kid exists
20-30 schools is not “exposure”
One social media post isn’t “exposure”
Couple camps aren’t “exposure”

Exposure means college coaches can’t escape your kid.
Everywhere they go, they see them.

Most families dramatically underestimate how much exposure is required to earn scholarships.

Both of these families contacted HUNDREDS OF SCHOOLS.

This is the recruiting process now.
The days of “natural exposure” and “sending a few emails” are gone.

The goal is to generate SO MUCH EXPOSURE that an offer of some kind is inevitable.
That is absolutely unimaginable that you wouldn’t get an offer.
→ That’s how you get scholarships

How To Get Your Kid Noticed By College Coaches

1. Don’t rely on showcases and camps or your coach to “connect” you with schools
This is how families end up panicked when senior year rolls around.

2. Multi-Platform Outreach
Contact coaches on multiple platforms to enhance the “can’t escape” effect.

3. More volume
Not just a little more...a lot more. Bare minimum of 100 schools, ideally contacting each one 3 times. Also helpful if you’re contacting multiple divisions (ideally all 5).

4. More proof
One 3-minute highlight video isn’t going to cut it. College coaches want more proof that a HS player is worth the risk (especially in today’s heavy transfer portal world).

5. Longer time horizon
Stop measuring in weeks. Start measuring in months.

You can manufacture exposure.

The only thing stopping you is time, effort and energy.

Scholarships can be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars
