Who We’re Looking For:

1. Your kid is a 2025 or 2026 high school athlete OR a college transfer athlete
2. In the last 2 months, your kid has had back-and-forth communication with 5 or less schools that you are excited about
3. You don’t think you will get the amount of interest & offers you want on your own
4. You’ve watched at least 5 videos from us on social media and believe that we are good at what we do

If this describes you, keep watching 🙂

What We Do & What The First 4 Weeks Look Like

There are 3 categories to what we offer.

Education:

We’ll show you exactly what you need to do to get more interest & offers. It’s your map to navigate college recruiting. No more guessing. No more wondering. Just a proven strategy that works.
How to set up your recruiting video so coaches watch more of your videos for a longer amount of time
How to stand out in the inbox & write emails that college coaches love
How to follow up with coaches to make sure relationships don’t fizzle (without being annoying)
How to generate & build interest on Twitter — DMs, tagging coaches, tweets, etc.
How to make showcases & camps more effective
And a lot more like this
This builds the foundation.

⭐️ The education piece is great for families who are willing to do the work on their own AND have been through the recruiting process successfully once before with another kid.

Coaching:

Every family’s situation is unique. Our playbook gives you a foundation, but we have to tailor it to your kid’s specific recruiting process. So we give you ongoing guidance to help you navigate all the situations that come up in college recruiting.

We do this in 2 ways:

We have 3 weekly office hour video calls you have access to (that’s more than 150 calls/year). And if you can’t make one of the calls but need to chat with us, just tell us. We’ll make time.
Email us any time with questions you have. We’re very responsive.

Here are some situations the coaching is helpful for...
Reviewing your YouTube channel & recruiting videos to make sure they’re optimized to get coaches to watch as many of them as possible for as long as possible
You’ve been talking to a coach for 2 months, and they’ve started ghosting you
You’ve been talking to a coach for 4 months, but you feel like they’re stringing you along
You’re struggling to put together a list of schools to reach out to
You got responses from some coaches, but you don’t know what to say back to them
You’re trying to decide if you should accept one of the offers you have or wait for your dream school
And more

⭐️ The coaching piece is great for families who have never navigated the recruiting process before, don’t know how to manage relationships with college coaches, and aren’t sure how to turn initial interest into tangible opportunities.

Done For You:

We know there’s a lot of work involved in getting exposure. It can be a full time job. So we can also take some of the work off your plate, if you want. NOTE: You don’t need DFY to succeed. They’re a “nice to have.”

2 DFY things we can do:

DFY Emails: We’ll email up to 200 schools for you. Once you give us the list of schools, we get the coaches to contact & all their contact information, write all your scripts for you, send all your emails for you, and send 3 emails to each school to give us the best chance of getting a response.
DFY Videos: We’ll build your entire YouTube channel from scratch. We’ll edit & cut all your videos (or your highlight video if you have one), upload all of those videos to YouTube for you, title all of those videos, organize them into playlists, and build the whole channel from the ground up.

⭐️ The DFY emails are great for families who struggle to get their kid to send emails (and when the parent doesn’t have time to send them either).
⭐️ The DFY videos are great for families who struggle with technology, and think building a YouTube channel from scratch would be a huge haul.

Here’s what the first 4 weeks typically look like:

Some families move slower, some move faster.
Week 1: Start going through our playbook and learning how you’re going to generate interest & offers. You’ll also start putting together your list of schools to reach out to.
Week 2: Build your YouTube channel. If you already have a YT channel, you’ll make a few adjustments to make it more effective. If you don’t have a YT channel, you’ll get yours up & running.
Week 3: You’ll start laying the foundation on Twitter. This will be your new “profile.” You don’t need another profile on a recruiting site. Twitter spends millions of dollars to get people to spend time on their platform.
Week 4: You’ll start putting together your emails and getting ready to send them out.
If you do DFY emails, it’s at this point that we’ll begin sending emails.
From here, it’s a continual process of generating more interest from new schools, and building relationships with schools that have shown interest. This is where the coaching piece becomes incredibly important.

Answering Common Questions

What sports do you work with?

These are the sports we are most comfortable with (in no particular order):
Baseball
Football
Basketball
Soccer
Lacrosse
Volleyball
Softball
We can still help your family even if you don’t play one of these sports, but we don’t have quite as much experience outside of these sports. If your kid plays one of these 7 sports, then we’re very comfortable with the process and have experience helping players in your sport get interest & offers.

Is there a monthly fee & how long does it last?

There is not a monthly fee. It’s a one time, upfront fee and it’s good for 12 months.

How much does it cost?

We charge between $1k and $4k, depending on how much help you want.

When you send the DFY emails, does it look like it’s coming from the athlete, from Jack, or from D1 Scholarship?

We send the emails on behalf of the athlete, so it looks like it’s coming from the athlete. The emails are not from Jack. They’re not from D1 Scholarship. They’re from your kid.
That said, we don’t use your kid’s personal email address. The reason for this is simple: if we go send hundreds of emails and Google decides that we’re spamming people, it’s possible they shut down the email account (never happened before, but we take all precautions, just in case).
Obviously, we can’t have your kid’s personal email account getting shut down. So, we purchase another email account for them (we have a specific process for doing this), and give you access to this account.
So the emails are from your kid, but not from their personal email account.

What if I have questions but can’t make the office hour calls that week?

Then just let us know and find a time that works for you. We encourage clients to use the office hour calls when possible, but we’ll make sure you get the help you need no matter what. You can also just email us.

What’s your success rate?

Very high when it comes to the # of families we generate interest & opportunities for.
That said, it depends how you define success.
→ Lots of interest and options?
→ Commit without a scholarship to a school they love?
→ Commit with a scholarship?
→ D1 or bust?
→ Strong academic school?
It depends how YOU define success. Some families define success as a D1 Scholarship. Others define it as getting their kid to a school they love & are excited about, regardless of division.
We’re here to help each family accomplish their own unique goals.
And in doing that, our success rate is very high.

Does the kid usually handle all of this or the parent?

Depends on the family. We largely communicate with parents. Athletes are welcome to come to the coaching calls & ask questions, but we ask that a parent always be present.
