Bio
Leon Mugisho, hailing from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), is a dedicated climate activist affiliated with Fridays For Future (FFF) Africa. Armed with a degree in chemistry, Leon's journey into activism was sparked by his deep understanding of the environmental challenges facing his homeland and the world at large.
Since 2022, Leon has been actively engaged in advocating for climate action, utilizing his expertise to educate and empower communities. As a member of FFF Africa, he has been instrumental in organizing and leading climate education sessions in schools across the DRC, equipping students with the knowledge and tools to become agents of change in their communities.
Beyond the classroom, Leon is a tireless advocate for raising awareness about climate change through impactful campaigns and initiatives. His work with FFF Africa has allowed him to amplify his message and mobilize support for urgent climate action.
Looking ahead, Leon remains committed to his role as a climate activist, determined to continue his fight for environmental justice and sustainability. With FFF Africa by his side, he aspires to inspire and collaborate with fellow activists across the continent to drive meaningful change and create a more resilient future for all.
