Friends of the Congo (FOTC)
About: Friends of the Congo (FOTC) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt advocacy organization headquartered in Washington, DC. Established in 2004, FOTC collaborates with Congolese partners to facilitate peaceful and enduring transformations in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), formerly known as Zaire.
Mission: The mission of Friends of the Congo is to raise global awareness about the challenges facing the Congo and to provide support to Congolese institutions in fostering sustainable and lasting change.
Vision: FOTC envisions a Congo characterized by peace and prosperity, where the Congolese people have the opportunity to realize their vast human and natural potential.
