The conventional goals of Adoption, Engagement, Retention & Revenue don’t fit the job portal. The Job Portal is only responsible for interfacing with candidates & capturing application and not for the rest of the hiring process. I’ll focus largely on the Candidate end as there’s no information available about the portal’s integration with the Talent Acquisition platform. Non-goals

Eightfold's mission is to help everybody find & build their right careers. Eightfold's Job portal should reflect its alignment with this mission and enable every candidate to make an informed decision about their association with Eightfold.

The Job Portal is a matured product that has state-of-the-industry features. The Application and tracking process is simple and intuitive. It helps Eightfold build its talent network. It aims to provide insights to candidates to empower them to make right decisions about their career. Based on a survey from 14 of my acquaintances & colleagues, growth and education opportunity is the most popular factor while applying or accepting a new job. It’s closely followed by pay, and work-life balance.
