Notes for migrating customers

If you are already a customer of Bodyswaps then there are some important changes you should know about. If you are new customer you can skip this section.

What’s changed

Before version 2.0 Bodyswaps did not support user logins, this meant all of our app usage was anonymous. Additionally an activation code was issued from Bodyswaps to you which lasted for duration of the agreement.
With version 2.0 of the Bodyswaps app the old activation code will no longer work and you will need to reactivate.
If you have upgraded the app on a device that already had Bodyswaps installed then when the app first launches it will attempt to do this for you automatically. However, if this is a fresh install then this is not possible.

Anonymous vs User tracking

You now have two options going forward:

Continue using Bodyswaps with anonymous users

By default your account has been set up to allow anonymous users - this is similar to what you are used to and designed minimise disruption.
The process now is:
Bodyswaps will send you a new activation code which is valid for thirty days
You should have already received a code in an automated email - please check your spam folder for emails from admin@bodyswaps.co
If you can’t find it or didn’t use the code within the time frame, drop us a line and we will mail you a new code
Enter this code when challenged in the app
Continue using Bodyswaps as normal
App usage will be available in your existing Dashboard as well as the Bodyswaps Go anonymously

You can also generate your own activation codes from Bodyswaps Go following .

Start using the new user management features

When you are ready, you can start to use the new user management features introduced in v2.0.
This requires you have an login to our . You should have received an email inviting you to create a password when we set you up. Please check your spam folder first and if not let us know and we will investigate.
To start using users you have two routes:

Using classes

Enrol new learners by adding their name / email to Bodyswaps Go
Create a class with an assigned module and add learners to this class
Send out an automated email invite - they will receive a link where they can create their own code to enter into the app. This doesn’t require them to create a password so is fairly frictionless.

Giving them their own login

Enrol new learners by adding their name / email to Bodyswaps Go. Set which content you want them to access (by default its all of it)
Click on the envelope icon to send them an invite to login Bodyswaps Go
They receive a registration email. They login into Bodyswaps Go and create a login code.
Learner enters code into app and they can browse available content.

Switching to user model entirely

We are moving over to a per-user pricing model, therefore anonymous usage of the app will no longer be permitted in future except for specific use-cases. Our sales team will work with you to make this as smooth process as possible.
For convenience, instead of anonymous users, you can have guest users. The difference between anonymous and guest users are these are counted against your user quota whilst anonymous users are not.
This feature is enabled remotely by us when we change the mode on your account.
Next time the app is started a guest login button will be available. When this is pressed a new user will be created in your dashboard called Guest User X. We can also disable Guest Logins for your account, in case you want to force all your users to enrol. Please let us know.

What’s next?

We are always looking for ways to improve our process - so please let us know what we can do.
For example based on early customer feedback we are planning to add a user self-enrolment feature shortly so you don’t have to manually enrol users yourself.
Any questions please get in touch.
