For fire emergencies call 112 (mobile phone) or 021 480 7700 or 107 (landline).

There are fire hose reels on each floor (located in the middle of the corridors) and fire extinguishers on each floor of the stairwell closest to the main entrance. These get serviced annually, but if you notice an issue with any of them, please let any of the trustees know.

Consider adding a smoke alarm in your unit.

Please immediately report smoke visible on the mountain or slopes: Signal Hill, Lion’s Head, Table Mountain, Deer Park, Devil’s Peak, and so on.
