Now we’re finally getting our hands on some story material. In this segment, we’ll plan and execute all the reporting you’ll need for the video profile assignment.

I will share the folder with the college’s resource manager, Jim Black, at jimblack@uga.edu, so that you can check out equipment from the Field Equipment Supply Room (FESR). Pitches for two video profiles of subjects on your beat. The pitches should include all the elements Prof. Lawson covers during class on Oct. 11. Post to channel #module4_a.
Assignment 4_3
Based on Prof. Lawson’s in-class instruction from Oct. 11, write and shoot a standup for the editing exercise we’ll do during class on Oct. 13. Bring the completed standup to class in a format you can upload into Adobe Premiere.
Make sure you add Adobe Creative Suite to your laptop.

Gather all your footage for your profile—A-roll and B-roll. Put it in a folder on your computer. Make an inventory of your clips with descriptions of what is covered in each, including summaries of A-roll, descriptions of B-roll, and natsound.
Next, go back to your story summary from 4_A. How has the story changed on the basis of your interviews? Revise the summary and post it along with the inventory in a google doc in #module4_B.
