Excursion 2: Birmingham (Module 4)

We will travel to Birmingham for the Commonwealth Games on August 4. We will attend at least one event and also have a meeting with athletes from adaptive sports. Here is the tentative schedule:

1. Depart Oxford 7.30

2. Arrive Birmingham National Exhibition Centre Piazza 1 entrance

3. Watch medal rounds for men’s and women’s lightweight para powerlifting, 10-12.45

4. Lunch in NEC

5. Meeting with para athletes from powerlifting, other para sports 1400

6. Depart Birmingham 16.00

7. Return to Oxford 17.30ish
