Live Interactive Limited Zoom Capacity

Last Updated: 12/7/21
The Live Interactive Limited Zoom Capacity session format is an interactive session that leverages the use of Zoom in either a meeting or webinar format.
At the session start time, the attendee would click a button to launch the Zoom for that particular session. The Zoom app will load like a normal Zoom meeting on the attendee’s computer/mobile device, outside of the Digital Experience.
If the attendee is a non-Servicenow employee, they will be launched initially into a waiting room, where a moderator will then admit them into the meeting.
Each Live Interactive session on the Digital Experience can be either a:
Zoom Meeting - Zoom meetings are what are used the most in a normal day to day work environment. This allows all attendees to show camera, mute/unmute, and chat. This type of Zoom does not support more than 1,000 concurrent users. It’s recommended to use this type of Zoom for smaller sessions where interaction amongst multiple attendees is encouraged.
Zoom Webinar - Zoom webinars do not have a capacity limit and limit the capabilities of non-host/moderator attendees. Normal attendees in a Zoom webinar will not be able to share video or unmute unless a moderator permits them to. This type of Zoom is typically used for much larger, broadcast style sessions where it’s a small number of people talking.

Limited Capacity
Lastly, this session format is considered “limited capacity” in the sense that there will be a preset limit to the number of attendees that can register and launch the session from the digital experience. The typical use case for this would be for trainings or other similar sessions where the number of attendees for the session should remain low. An attendee would only be able to launch the session if they had previously enrolled and saved a seat.
NOTE: For any Zoom session, moderators will need to be assigned and trained prior to the session start time.
