This prioritization template can help determine which Epics should be in scope for each release milestone, then referenced in the parent Product Brief accordingly. It uses , developed by the Product team at Intercom.
The table below uses this formula to calculate a summary score that can be used to stack rank and inform sequencing for all of the Epics under consideration: ( (Reach * Impact * Confidence (%) ) / Effort
The outcome is divided by 2 to keep RICE Score outputs small and comparable. Epics with the highest RICE scores should be prioritized for development earlier.
