Immunity Smoothie
Full Name

Ingredients
Handful of organic shredded carrots
8-10 frozen pineapple chunks
1 orange lightly zested and then peeled
Small chunk ginger peeled and chopped
1 T. lemon juice
½ cup non-dairy plain yogurt
1-2 t. raw honey
1 t. turmeric
1 t. of ceylon cinnamon
6 oz. of ice
Directions
Place all items in a high-powered blender in the order listed. Blend on low to start until combined, then blend on high for 1 minute or until smooth. Pour into a glass and serve with a reusable straw.
Helpful Hints or Substituions
You could substitute banana for the pineapple, or use regular carrots if you don’t have shredded.

I was feeling under the weather the day after my second covid vaccine and didn’t feel like eating much. I knew my immune system was working overtime so I decided to make an Immunity Smoothie with ingredients I had on hand.
