Roles of Industrial Trainee

During the industrial training, the industrial trainee must:

Carry the good name of the faculty and university
Abide to all the company's common practice and rules
Keep a log book record and sample of works

Report to ITC through the Online Weekly Report and get it verified by the Field Supervisor weekly.

Industrial Trainee is expected to gain as much as possible the experience during his/her attachment to the company; listed are the common task categories and some details about the tasks:

Register Online:

Make sure that you have registered as an .
If you have any problem to register, please contact ITC.

On and before the first day:

Actually, the best is to get in touch with the place a little bit earlier; i.e. a week or a few days before. Get information from them such as traffic, parking, clock in time, dressing code etc.
Report to your
Get introduced to the staffs and the office environment.
Get some brief on your roles and their expectation.
Share your expectation as well if there is an opportunity to do so.
Update the within 1 week.

Every day:

Be punctual; inform your supervisor if you taking any leave or having any problem to be on time.
Update your manual log book daily.
Keep any work that is possible/allowed to be kept. Even a draft sketch, wrongly printed or superseded drawings.
If you have any problem, ask your colleague, immediate supervisor or senior staffs.
If you need any help from the faculty, do , send sms or WhatsApp us.

Every week:

Fill in the Weekly Report online.
Get your printed weekly report signed by your supervisor.

Academic Supervisor Visit

ITC will contact you through email or WhatsApp regarding the visit. You and your supervisor supposed to be available on the Academic Supervisor visit.

Industrial Training Report

Prepare the report according to the
Submit your Industrial Training report to the ITC on the date specified; remember that the report supposed to be dark green hard cover-binded with gold plate lettering (which might take a few day to be done).
