Roles of Academic Supervisor

An Academic Supervisor will be appointed to assess the industrial trainee performance.

During the industrial training, the academic supervisor must:

Monitor the progress of the student throughout the training period.

Contact the field supervisor for feedback on the student’s performance at least once.

Visit the student at least once if the student undergoes his/her industrial training in Malaysia.

Complete the Academic Supervisor’s Visiting Report Form and submit to the ITC.

Remind the student to submit the report at the end of the training period

If the academic supervisor think there is a need to have the manual version, he/she may ask the student to print the manual version for his/her usage during the visit.
