Let’s look at some examples of competitive analyses.

1. Competitive Landscape & Positioning

Competitive landscapes tend to be visual and make it easy to see the gaps between your product and the industry. Typically, you want to select two most important criteria that the industry competes on and then compare across them.

2. UI / UX Teardown

Compare a particular flow (registration, onboarding, etc.) across multiple products
Typically step-by-step screenshots with callouts
