How to Write Your Manual

Remember:

One slide per step.

Write one sentence per step.

Explain to the manufacturing plant how to assemble the switch, from start to finish, step-by-step.


Here’s an example of what you might create. Use the given template!

To create a New Slide, go to the toolbar in the top left and head to Slide > New Slide. It should reproduce the template each time, and automatically change the Step #s. You can also drag to reorder your slides as needed.

Use the “Rollback Timeline” feature (see video below) to take screenshots at certain points of the build.

Once you have the assembly the way you want to take a picture, take a screenshot of the current state of assembly as shown in the Example.
