Document Reader

Document reader module digitizes the information on the document, both from the Visual Zone as well MRZ and QR code, if present. Comparing the information read in different parts of the document with each other.
The document reader converts the image of the document into textual information. The document reader extracts the text From the Machine Read Zone (MRZ) as well as from the Visual Read Text Zone. The service determines the position of the document in the image, assesses "blur", brightness, darkness and similar determining visual characteristics. This module is also responsible for identifying and cropping the person’s photo ID to prepare it for further comparison.
Document reader service also includes document targeting for auto-capture functionality.
