How to set this up

Watch the video walk though or follow the written instructions below.
Loading…
Set up a new table with a minimum of the following recommended and/or required columns:
Meeting Subject / Topic: A text field to map to Salesforce subject. Recommend this is set as the Display Column
Date: Recommend formatting date column as date and time like below. This will map to Salesforce field called StartDateTime. Tip - you can default this column to Today’s date.
Duration: Number column to track length of call. Maps to Salesforce field “DurationInMinutes”
Account ID and Contact ID: Relate you meeting to a specific account or contact using the ID for the records. In order to achieve this, I configured Account and Contact Name as lookup columns to tables pulled from Salesforce with this information. I then pulled the Salesforce ID for these records from the synced tables.

Change the Display of the table to Detail View for easier notes view per meeting.
TIP: Find the Salesforce exact column names in the formula builder. It takes 3-8 seconds to populate the list. Select the Salesforce field name and Coda’s formula builder inserts the column ID for you.
