Sync & doc performance tips

Keep in mind our guidelines when setting up your Jira Pack settings. We've found that doc performance improves with these tips to improve your sync set-up.

Tip #1: Just want to see one or two issues? Use Pack cards to quickly embed data onto a page.

If you have the url or key of a Jira issue you can quickly add it to your doc and embed the issue’s name, status, assignee, and priority without having to sync a whole project. Simply paste the url onto the canvas or drag and drop the Issue card from the Jira Pack building blocks menu and fill out the ‘key or url’ field.

Tip #2: Optimize performance by limiting the number of issues that you sync to your Coda doc.

Tip #3: Set your sync frequency to manual (or daily at a maximum)

Tip #4: Add your Jira Projects table to a hidden doc page to ensure projects are synced to your doc.

The error shown means the projects table is not included in your Coda doc. Add a Jira Projects table somewhere in your doc to ensure the project information is synced.
