Requested updates, Jan. 30 2024

I’d like to experiment with a version of this page which de-emphasizes features of the product, and puts the service (fees, customer support, fair / transparent prices, etc.) more at the forefront of the page.
This is a different approach for us (we’re comfortable with features) - so I might not be giving you good direction to set you up for success here. Please push back and ask for more, if that’s the case.
But the driving idea behind this is, this persona is motivated to switch more by a poor relationship with their current provider, than by a lack of features of their current service. So why not lean into our strength in that area?

Potential changes

Reorganizing pages based on this feedback (less visual emphasis on product features)
Finding a way to make our fees and transparency more relatable (copy changes)
More emphasis on SwipeSimple, trusted by 125,000 small businesses

Potential source material

we developed

me riffing

if i’m a plumber fed up with the bank or Square adding QR code coupons for bitcoin in my app or whatever, I might want to know more about the company behind the product and their promise to me.
i also would want to know i can trust that there really are no hidden fees (tough because everyone says this and really we don’t have them)
easy to reach a human via phone or email (details here )

Winning copy from our ads that might be relevant

These all have GOOD ratings by the ad platform:
Take Payments On The Go
Payment Processing Made Easy
Quick and Easy Setup
SwipeSimple Connect is here to simplify your life and supercharge your business.
Payment processing, no more hidden fees or surprises. Enjoy straightforward pricing.
Tired of complex payment solutions that leave you frustrated and confused?

Original brief

Overview

We’d like to make an acquisition landing page for the HVAC persona. ultimate goal is for the user to complete an application for SwipeSimple Connect.

Notes on the persona

“Take a payment in all the ways that make sense for you and your customers” (most relevant use cases)
Take payments at time of booking, at time of service, or after the service (see below)
At time of service booking = VT with optional card on file
At time of service = mobile app
After the service = invoice or VT
Take payments over the phone (prepayment/deposit at time the appointment is booked; or to collect after the service) - virtual terminal
Take payments on your smartphone, at the point of service - mobile app
Send an invoice (via phone or SMS) that your customers can quickly pay from their phone or computer - invoicing on web dashboard or mobile
Secondary value props
Simple, fast, easy software

Maybe relevant use cases
Card reader - only for “at the point of service” collection AND where lower cost of acceptance matters
