Almost midnight I receive a message: Why me? Of all the people in the world, why me? And a request that I should respond on writing. At first my reaction was, “What! what is this?” But I know her, she loves to read.
Actually, why her?
Is it because of her beautiful face? No.
Is it because of her curly hair? No.
Is it because of the way she laughs? No.
Is it because she is smart? No.
Is it because of her sweet voice? No.
Is it because she is a really good at communicating? No.
Is it because she likes to tell stories? No.
Is it because she is an honest person? No.
Is it because of her small fantasies? No.
I think I can go on and on about what I like about her, and I chose her not because of anything particular but because with all her strengths and qualities she is a genuine person with whom I feel at home. Because with her I can be my true self. AND because I love her!!
