Well, hello there, and welcome to the Mother City! 👋

My name is Werner. I was born and raised in a small town in the north of South Africa and in 2011 I moved to Cape Town. Like most visitors, I immediately fell head over heels in love with the place, and have been calling it home ever since. I’m an avid paraglider, hiker, trail runner, and beach bum; all things you can find me doing in this beautiful place.

I was fortunate enough to to travel a lot—for work and for pleasure. Over the past decade I’ve stayed in literally hundreds of different Airbnbs around the world. I took some of the best of what I’ve found (and hopefully avoided the worst) of what I’ve seen. I’ve been a host since 2016, but the apartment you booked is new on Airbnb, so please let me know if there’s anything missing or anything that I can do to improve!
