One of the biggest challenges new chapters have is attendance. It is important to put in the time to connect with and invite as many people as you can to the first few events. Once you have introduced the program to your community, it will begin to grow organically.
Splunk does not share or advertise any chapter’s upcoming events in our social media. Instead, we share the wins from your events. Your videos, your blog posts, a great discussion question that came out of your chapter.
In the Splunk Community
When sharing your events or chapter news in the official Splunk communities, please only share in the following places:
In the Slack Workspace, in the #splunk-usergroups channel
One of the best channels for sharing events, photos, and posting about Splunk User Groups is social media!
