Design the data that will be collected and shared

Map out the triggers and processes that will cause data to be input or output from the Case Index, and how it many be disclosed to other organisations.

Conduct a DPIA and take actions to reduce risks

It is likely that much of the new information is collected from the vulnerable person themselves, and the professionals that are already working with them. This gives an opportunity to ask for consent to access, process, and share this new data.

Prepare Data Protection Documents

In particular
a privacy notice will set out how the new information will be used and protected.
data sharing agreements will set out the terms for what data is shared with which partner organisations
