There is a second "why", because the first "why" took on a life of its own, and became a different "why" than what I intended.....
This one is a little bit more philosophical. Why do you live in the house that you live in? The car that you drive? The clothes that you wear?
How much of that was conscious decisions, and how much was just subconscious assumptions? Assumptions about what life owes me? What I have earned? What my peers have, or don't have? How many has made a conscious planning exercise with God, or whatever your perception of the ultimate purpose of life is, and said - "First I will give this back to You, Your children, the widows and the hungry." Not because I have more than what I need, but because it is the right thing to do?
