Objective

To create a Multiplayer online Battle Ground Arena(MOBA) realm for our NFT characters. The battle will be fought at the premise of Temple of Ein no Chikara, where the Ninja’s are knocking on its door to steal the keys to divinity while the Samurai clan is trying to protect it from all evil forces. Our vision(nirvana state) is to link the web 3.0 and web 2.0 worlds with the help of an interactive, skillful and tactical game where both the audiences benefit out of the project.

If and when an NFT is staked on our platform, we open the avenue for the character’s avatar to be used in the game. The game by default has a base set of characters with very basic appearance for the users to play the game. The value that our NFT holders will bring to the game is by ultimately staking their developed NFT’s(Skins, upgraded weapons, personas etc using our native NXT token). This will allow the NFT’s to be shown in the game library, where any gamer can purchase(not the NFT) but the character’s appearance just within the scope of the game. This will in-turn reward and promote our NFT community for holding on to the NFT’s and keep upgrading their character using our token. The character to purchase will also hold some value depending upon the rarity of the NFT token’s attributes which will be explicitly defined in the game.

Game Modes



1. Characters

Ninja is one of the 2 main characters participating in the combat.
Ninjas have now infiltrated the gates of Ein no Chikara with their Ronin warriors. Their aim is to now break into the shrine guarded by a fortress and the samurai leading the Ashigaru warriors.
Samurai is the other main character participating in the combat.
Samurais are glorified protectors of the shrine from the evil intentions of the Ninja warriors and their Ronins. A samurai must defend the fortress while also trying to block the entrance/gate to stop the Ninjas and their warriors.
Ashigaru are the warriors led by the samurai who don’t fear for their lives in order to protect the shrine from evil intent
Ronin are the paid warriors without a lord or master that fight for the Ninja’s and are completely loyal to them.

2. Structures


Fortress is the tower operated by Ashigaru that constantly attacks enemy when stepped into its proximity.
Gate is the breached entrance that needs to be closed or shut. But the Ninjas have casted dark magic on the breached walls which also drains the life of samurai’s and warriors who are in proximity.

4. Gameplay


This section will completely define how the game starts, progresses and ends. What are the different goals and how can a player participating as a samurai or Ninja win the game? The skills required by the players, power ups etc. For simplicity, we won’t cover the Art style, Music and sounds as it has to be TBD.

4.1 Game start and progression

As the game starts, the samurai and Ashigaru warriors move in the direction of the gate with the purpose of blocking it whereas the Ninjas and the ronins move towards the direction of the fortress in order to destroy it.
The battlefield is divided into 3 territories - ninja territory, neutral ground samurai territory.
Within the neutral grounds, the good and bad characters(warriors only) fight each other without taking any additional damage from either the black magic or fortress.
Within the Ninja territory, any ashigaru and/or samurai who steps in takes damage from the black magic. Note: If a samurai enters ninja territory with atleast 1 Ashigaru warrior, the black magic does not damage the samurai unless the samurai alone is trying to block the gate.
Within the Samurai territory, if any Ronin and/or Ninja who steps in takes damage from the fortress. Note: If a Ninja enters Samurai territory with atleast 1 Ronin warrior, the fortress does not hit the Ninja unless the ninja alone is trying to destroy the fortress.
Pack of Ronins and Ashigaru soldiers keep coming into the battlefield at the same pace. They don't stop and are endless.
The Ronin and Ashigaru do the exact amount of damage to each other more or less and do not bear any skills.
The Ronin hits Ashigaru and vice versa unless the main characters hit each other. Remember, they serve their masters and are always there to protect them. Ronins and Ashigarus also hit/fix the fortress and gate respectively if the path is clear.
Ninjas and samurais with the help of certain orbs can create a skill move with the help of invoke orb.
Orb’s can't be bought and can only be gained in the game by killing either Ronins and Ashigaru
As the game starts, both the samurai and Ronin will be allowed to choose the orb types to invoke their own skills.

4.2 Goals


Long term goal(to win) as a:
Samurai :
Kill the Ninja twice(can respawn once) or
Block the breached gate
Ninja:
Kill the samurai(can respawn once) or
Destroy the fortress

Short term goal(as game starts and progresses) as a:
Samurai:
As Ronins and Ashigaru keep fighting, take the last hit of Ronin to gain the orb’s
Keep pushing your army towards the gate with the aim to block the gate.
Ninja:
As Ronins and Ashigaru keep fighting, take the last hit of Ashigaru to gain the invoke orb.
Keep pushing your army towards the fortress with the aim to destroy it.

4.3 Orbs(TBD)


Orbs can be thought as the heart of the game because this can allow the user to create a skill
For now we say there are 5 total orbs(4 utility + 1 cast):
1 - Fire (1 Strength attribute) - Adds strength attribute to increase your health pool
2 - Earth (1 defense attribute ) - Adds armor to reduce the incoming physical damage
3 - Water( 1 Damage attribute) - Adds attack damage
4 - Wind(1 Agility attribute) - Increases your characters attack speed + armor by small amount
5 - Invoke(used to create a skill)
There are a total of 6 skills(TBD) that the main characters can cast as per 4C2 combination. Therefore every skill requires 2 specific orbs. And with the invoke orb, characters can basically create the skill. At most, the characters can hold 2 Skill moves. We might also keep the skills temporary, to keep the game more active and allow for the game to shift the dynamics and change the probability of winning which is purely based on skill.
The game starts with giving each main character 2 orbs and a skill.
Whenever the main characters kill the low level characters(only last hit), they can randomly gain any orb. The idea is to keep killing the low level characters and collect as many orbs(utility orbs also add the attributes) + cast the skills to cause magical damage.
