Yes, I know OpenAI is prestigious, but MATS is also doing amazing stuff! :) We’re helping potentially great future alignment researchers across the world come to Berkeley and get the mentorship and overall support they need to take the leap towards a professional career in the field:) I think this is really important / currently a bottleneck in the field! More info on the program: As for OpenAI, I’m providing project management support for our data labelers, currently helping with quality control for InstructGPT ().
