Join us in the Hubbs Hall Conference Room from 8:00 - 9:00 am to connect over coffee and a light breakfast before the workshop kicks off at 9:00 am.
beer

Join us this evening at Surfside on the SIO Campus for a sunset mixer with colleagues!

5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Address: Surfside Revelle Family Student Center, 8606 Kennel Way, La Jolla, CA 92037
We will be directly next to the beach so feel free to bring a jacket if you tend to get cold.
For those returning to the La Jolla Shores Hotel, a shuttle will be available to bring folks from the mixer back to the hotel.

Purpose Statement:

The workshop will convene researchers with technical expertise in developing models for predicting and evaluating coastal flood hazards and potential impacts in a changing climate. The objectives are to:
gather input and case studies on advancements in coastal flood modeling that can inform community-level future flood risk and adaptation planning,
discuss and achieve agreement on coastal flood terminology and standards,
identify knowledge gaps and potential opportunities for collaboration and further research.
