We will be directly next to the beach so feel free to bring a jacket if you tend to get cold.

For those returning to the La Jolla Shores Hotel, a shuttle will be available to bring folks from the mixer back to the hotel. Click here to see the evening’s shuttle schedule.

Workshop Overview:

Day 1 of this workshop will focus on exposure and coastal flooding, and Day 2 will focus on sensitivity and adaptive capacity to affect decision making. Considering each of these elements will help determine how coastal flood modeling can inform and advance risk management and decision-making today and into the future.

For those attending in person, we will hold an evening social mixer on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 from 5:30 - 7:00 pm. We are additionally offering an optional morning gathering hour – with coffee and a light breakfast – for folks wishing to get an early start. The gathering hour will be from 8:00 - 9:00 am both days.
