Join us in the Hubbs Hall Conference Room from 8:00 - 9:00 am to connect over coffee and a light breakfast before the workshop kicks off at 9:00 am.
Purpose Statement:
The workshop will explore opportunities and approaches for a multidisciplinary assessment and response to climate change impacts on flood risks by integrating physical modeling, human factors, and decision science. The objectives are to:
gather input and case studies in the burgeoning field of compound flood modeling,
discuss considerations of uncertainty, cognitive, societal and cultural factors for decision-making in response to flood risks,
explore opportunities for collaborations and potential uses for specific decision-makers, including DoD installations.
