Task panel

The Task panel contains tasks assigned to user. Tasks are grouped by projects.

At the top, we can quickly switch between Active, Upcoming, Review, and All tasks.
Active tasks: These are tasks that the assignee should be able to work on. Upcoming tasks: These are tasks assigned to the assignee but are waiting for internal or external inputs that are not ready yet. This means the assignee is not able to work on them at the moment. Review tasks: This group shows tasks that the assignee has finished but are waiting for review.
2. You can filter tasks by name by entering the task name in the “Filter tasks” element.
3. You can sort tasks by Name, Priority, End Date, or Status by clicking on the sorting icon.
4. By clicking the filter icon, you can further filter tasks by their project, task type, and date range.
5. By clicking on the Collapse/Expand all icon, you can expand or collapse the task list from the project group.
6. Project groups contain tasks for a specific project. When you click on the group header, the task list is displayed. In the task list, you can see the parent name, task name, task status, and priority of the task.

Task basic information panel

When we select the desired task, the middle panel will show more details about the task.
Here we can see the task path [1], task name [2], and parent name [3]. You can start time tracking by clicking on the "Start Tracking" button [4]. We can change the status [5] and see the already spent hours [6] and the end date [7] of the task. Additionally, you can view the priority [8], task assignees [9], and the task thumbnail [10].

Task advance information panel

In Notes, we have all the notes belonging to the task.
In the info tab, we can see the Task description, attributes, and additional information relating to the task. For example, a frame range, resolution, and other attributes that are needed to complete the task.
The Links panel contains lists of incoming and outgoing tasks to the task, so we can see what is coming in and what is coming out, who is working on it, and what’s its current status.
The Time tracker lets us add new time records and edit or delete the existing ones.
The Activity tab contains a history of changes of the Task and its output versions.

To-Do list panel

In this panel, we can see the To-Do list for the selected task. We have the option to show done to-dos [1] and the button to add a new to-do item [2]. By clicking on the circle in front of the To-Do description, we can mark the to-do as done [3].

Files panel

In the files panel, all the files related to the task are displayed.

At the top tabs you can switch between Inputs, Work files and Outputs
Input tab[1] contains all necessary inputs for completing the task. It contains all the published files from linked tasks and also additional external files available for the task. This feature can save us a lot of time because all the necessary files will be in one place and we won't need to search for them.
More info about work files here:
Work files[2] contain Assignees' work files which they use for completing the task. We can create new work file, open existing ones, or open specific software directly from the tab.
More info about work files here:
Outputs [3] tab contains files that Assignees have previously published. Assignees can also publish new files in this tab.
