Work Files

Work Files are accessible only through the Soko Desktop Application and not via the web application.

From this tab, you can:
Create a new work file [1].
Open supported software [2].
Open, delete, or browse to existing file [3].
Using the filter [4], you can quickly find the desired files.
By default, only “openable” files are listed in Work Files. This means that even if your folder on storage contains various files, Soko will only display supported files. To see all files, turn off the "Only Supported" switch [5].
You can define supported files in > Other > File Types.
By default, only files related to the selected task are displayed. To view files from different related tasks, click the "All Files" button [6]. Related tasks include all tasks within the same folder, such as all tasks for a specific shot or asset.

When multiple file formats are available for one software, you can choose your preferred file format [2].
Additionally, you have the option to open a newly created file immediately after it is created by checking the "Open After Create" checkbox [3]. If you prefer to just create the file without opening it, simply uncheck this option.
