It’s important for this doc to work well that you track the “Need Type” for each item. Here’s how to use those labels.
Excess – something hanging around in your kitchen that you don’t need and want to use up.
Emergency supply – things you keep on hand in case of an emergency, such as being snowed in or a power outage.
Staple – something you would immediately add to your shopping list if it were used up.
Quantities don’t need to be exact, it’s just an estimate.
