Guest Guidelines

Beloved Zawiyah participant,

We are excited to host you at this beautiful eco-building. By choosing to stay in this building, you agree to the following Guest Guidelines:

General

Please remove your shoes when entering the IPC and place them in the designated area, out of the way of the door.

There is no alcohol, drugs, smoking, or pork products allowed in the building or on the grounds of our property. Ask about designated smoking areas.

Although we love animals, we cannot accommodate any pets.

Please refrain from wearing perfumes or using strongly scented personal products.

Recycle items, reduce waste and reuse whenever possible. Thank you!

Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am.

Dome Room

Only water and tea are allowed in the dome room, in a closed container. Please refrain from bringing coffee, food or snacks in this space.

Kitchen/ Dining Room

Please rinse your dishes before loading them into the dishwasher.

Please dump any compostable items and bones in the compost bucket.

Please use recycle bins across from the fridge for recyclable trash.

Bedrooms

Make sure to turn off all lights when leaving your bedroom.

Please leave windows closed while the AC/heating is running.

Please do not sit or put heavy items on the window ledges since they are very fragile and not designed for bearing a load.

If you need your room temperature adjusted, contact the caretaker to assist you.

No food is allowed in the bedrooms.

Before checking out, place your used linens, pillow cases, and towels in one pillow case, and leave them inside the room by the door. Thank you!
