The purchase price of the cars is crowdfunded by selling “Car Tokens” to investors on the platform. By purchasing Car Tokens, you gain the right to share in any profit when the vehicle is resold. In addition, you can diversify your portfolio by purchasing tokens in multiple cars. In this way, you can invest in the virtual garage of your dreams, backed by tangible, real-world assets (RWAs).
How does it work?
CurioInvest’s team of experts research and source rare, investment-grade collectible cars. We only select competitively priced cars which have the potential to increase in value over time. You can invest in a specific vehicle by buying Car Tokens. All the key information about the vehicles is available on the CurioInvest platform (including the vehicle’s ownership history, the current market prices for comparable vehicles, and relevant media such as videos and photos).
When the car is resold, you will receive a profit if the vehicle increases in value. Alternatively, if you wish to cash out before the vehicle is sold, you can also sell your Car Tokens peer-to-peer to other investors.

How can I make money?
By investing in Car Tokens, you gain the right to share in any potential profit when the vehicle is resold. The amount of money you obtain is directly proportional to the value of the car. You receive a profit if the increase in value of the vehicle exceeds its maintenance costs. Any vehicle that increases in value by more than 20% will be resold by CurioInvest so that investors can share in the profits.
If you want to cash out before the car is resold, you can sell your Car Tokens peer-to-peer to other investors. Since your tokens are backed by a real vehicle, the value will be proportional to the current market value of the car.

While ordinary cars tend to depreciate over time, rare collectable vehicles have been consistently among the . How long are the cars kept before they are resold?
CurioInvest will sell a car if the resale value reaches 20% above the initial purchase price. Thus, the amount of time will vary depending on market conditions.
Can I drive the cars I invest in?
CurioInvest is primarily intended as an investment opportunity for small and mid-level investors. The goal is to acquire and maintain a collection of exclusive vehicles which will increase in value over time. In order to retain their value, the cars need to be very carefully stored and maintained by experts and thus, CurioInvest investors cannot drive the vehicles. However, CurioInvest is planning to enable investors to monitor their vehicles via webcam, occasionally visit the vehicles, and even participate in unique driving experiences involving similar cars.

How does CurioInvest choose which fine assets to purchase?
CurioInvest typically acquires ‘blue-chip’ fine cars or artwork from the major established garages or auction houses, with acquisitions focused on assets representative of a top 100 brands, that it is able to acquire at an attractive cost relative to value based on estimated historical appreciation rates, and an established track record of multiple multi-million dollar sales annually.
Our growth strategy is to purchase blue chip cars that will naturally appreciate, identify undervalued cars with the potential to make significant gains and to enhance the value of select vehicles through restoration. Cars in the collection would also then benefit from detailed research, manufacturer certification, maintenance and promotion through AR/VR applications to further enhance the collectors values.
What fees does Curio charge?
CurioInvest charges a 20% performance fee on profit when the car is successfully resold. Thus, our fee structure is on a “no win, no fee” basis. A fee is only levied when your investment succeeds, meaning that your interests are completely aligned with those of CurioInvest - we only make money if you make money. Please note, however, that depending on how you choose to purchase your Car Tokens, some third-party payment processing fees may apply.
What does “Express Interest” in shares mean?
Before we start accepting investments, we may open up assets for reservations. By reserving shares, you express your interest in an upcoming investment opportunity. Although there is no binding commitment on your part, this allows us to evaluate demand to ensure we have enough investors before the car goes live.
What if the crowdfunding target is not reached?
If the crowdfunding target is not reached, all investors will receive a full refund.
What are the risks?

Quantum Ledger Security
CurioInvest develops a hardware device (Ledger) for generating and storing keys based on the Quantis QRNG chip created by ID Quantique. The Quantis QRNG chip uses Quantum Random Number Generation (QRND) to generate a seed for generating wallet keys.
