Complete your Investors Profile and build your own collection of fine cars. 80% of profits will be paid back at you when car sells later at an auction, after covering storage, maintenance and insurance costs. (bottom “view fine automobiles)
Keep an overview on how your investments are performing. All our cars are traded across diverse digital exchanges daily. Your dashboard allows you to review how much your token investment has traded in volume along with any capital gains or losses.

We Store

CurioInvest secures each asset with professional maintenance, storage and insurance partners.
All cars are stored and maintained with meticulous attention to detail by expert partner(s) in a highly secure and climate controlled facility in Germany. The vehicles are monitored by staff around the clock.

You Get Paid

We pay out cash distributions to you, the investor, when the asset gets sold.
Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance. Selling is simple. List your tokens for sale to other investors at any time on diverse digital exchanges. Or else wait for the fine automobile’s 5 yearly exit circle where investors have the opportunity to exit at a market value.

What is CurioInvest?

CurioInvest provides a simple platform to invest in premium collectible cars. CurioInvest’s team of experts hand-pick vehicles based on their investment potential. The purchase price of the cars is crowdfunded by selling “Car Tokens” to investors on the platform. By purchasing Car Tokens, you gain the right to share in any profit when the vehicle is resold. In addition, you can diversify your portfolio by purchasing tokens in multiple cars. In this way, you can invest in the virtual garage of your dreams, backed by tangible, real-world assets (RWAs).

How does it work?

CurioInvest’s team of experts research and source rare, investment-grade collectible cars. We only select competitively priced cars which have the potential to increase in value over time. You can invest in a specific vehicle by buying Car Tokens. All the key information about the vehicles is available on the CurioInvest platform (including the vehicle’s ownership history, the current market prices for comparable vehicles, and relevant media such as videos and photos).
When the car is resold, you will receive a profit if the vehicle increases in value. Alternatively, if you wish to cash out before the vehicle is sold, you can also sell your Car Tokens peer-to-peer to other investors.

Can anyone invest using CurioInvest?

CurioInvest’s mission is to enable everyone to invest and profit from collectible cars. This means that ordinary car enthusiasts and smaller investors can now benefit from a market that was previously only accessible to wealthy elites. For this reason, the platform is free and open to all individuals above 18 years of age. For legal reasons, investors must pass an anti-money-laundering and KYC test before making their first investment, which can be completed online.

How can I make money?

By investing in Car Tokens, you gain the right to share in any potential profit when the vehicle is resold. The amount of money you obtain is directly proportional to the value of the car. You receive a profit if the increase in value of the vehicle exceeds its maintenance costs. Any vehicle that increases in value by more than 20% will be resold by CurioInvest so that investors can share in the profits.
If you want to cash out before the car is resold, you can sell your Car Tokens peer-to-peer to other investors. Since your tokens are backed by a real vehicle, the value will be proportional to the current market value of the car.

Don’t most cars usually depreciate over time?

While ordinary cars tend to depreciate over time, rare collectable vehicles have been consistently among the
highest performing alternative asset classes

. However, because the purchase price of exclusive vehicles is so expensive, up until now the market was only viable for elite investors. CurioInvest is opening up this exciting investment opportunity to everyone.

How long are the cars kept before they are resold?

CurioInvest will sell a car if the resale value reaches 20% above the initial purchase price. Thus, the amount of time will vary depending on market conditions.

Can I drive the cars I invest in?

CurioInvest is primarily intended as an investment opportunity for small and mid-level investors. The goal is to acquire and maintain a collection of exclusive vehicles which will increase in value over time. In order to retain their value, the cars need to be very carefully stored and maintained by experts and thus, CurioInvest investors cannot drive the vehicles. However, CurioInvest is planning to enable investors to monitor their vehicles via webcam, occasionally visit the vehicles, and even participate in unique driving experiences involving similar cars.

How does CurioInvest choose which fine assets to purchase?

CurioInvest typically acquires ‘blue-chip’ fine cars or artwork from the major established garages or auction houses, with acquisitions focused on assets representative of a top 100 brands, that it is able to acquire at an attractive cost relative to value based on estimated historical appreciation rates, and an established track record of multiple multi-million dollar sales annually. Our growth strategy is to purchase blue chip cars that will naturally appreciate, identify undervalued cars with the potential to make significant gains and to enhance the value of select vehicles through restoration. Cars in the collection would also then benefit from detailed research, manufacturer certification, maintenance and promotion through AR/VR applications to further enhance the collectors values.

What fees does Curio charge?

CurioInvest charges a 20% performance fee on profit when the car is successfully resold. Thus, our fee structure is on a “no win, no fee” basis. A fee is only levied when your investment succeeds, meaning that your interests are completely aligned with those of CurioInvest - we only make money if you make money. Please note, however, that depending on how you choose to purchase your Car Tokens, some third-party payment processing fees may apply.

What does “Express Interest” in shares mean?

Before we start accepting investments, we may open up assets for reservations. By reserving shares, you express your interest in an upcoming investment opportunity. Although there is no binding commitment on your part, this allows us to evaluate demand to ensure we have enough investors before the car goes live.

What if the crowdfunding target is not reached?

If the crowdfunding target is not reached, all investors will receive a full refund.

What are the risks?

Before you make the decision to invest on CurioInvest, we strongly recommend that you take some time to review the investment documents provided in the legal section of the web page for each vehicle. This is very important, since it will improve your understanding of the risk factors associated with such an investment. Please refer to the Terms of Use and Disclaimer for more information.
All forms of investment, including the investment opportunities on CurioInvest, are vulnerable to risks. The value of an investment is determined by market forces and thus, it can fluctuate in both directions. You will make a profit if the value of the vehicle exceeds maintenance costs when it is resold by Curio. If you are selling Car Tokens peer-to-peer, there is no guarantee that you will locate a buyer willing to purchase them at your desired price.
Although all of our cars are meticulously stored and maintained by reputable expert partner(s), bear in mind that cars are real assets and thus may be subject to material risks such as potential vehicle damage. Quantum Ledger Security

CurioInvest develops a hardware device (Ledger) for generating and storing keys based on the Quantis QRNG chip created by ID Quantique. The Quantis QRNG chip uses Quantum Random Number Generation (QRND) to generate a seed for generating wallet keys. Quantum Ledger will be applicable to Curio Parachain wallets as well as Ethereum wallets.
Quantum RNGs exploit elementary quantum optic processes that are fundamentally probabilistic to produce true randomness. As the quantum processes underlying the QRNG are well understood and characterized, their inner working can be clearly modelized and controlled to always produce unpredictable randomness.
