The importance of VOLUME when you email college coaches

Sending 20 emails to college coaches is NOT enough.

Basic math is literally PREVENTING you from getting a scholarship.
→ I'll prove it to you (double check my math):

Let's say you email 20 schools.

Right off the bat, at least 50% of those schools likely don't need your position & graduation class.
So without talking about ANYTHING else...
→ Only 10 of the 20 schools are viable.
But it gets worse.

Let's assume an 80% open rate.

This is fairly generous.
(We average 88% - industry average is much lower)
→ This means that 8 out of the 10 schools open your email.
But there's still more to go...

About 50% of coaches will watch your video.

Again, I'm being generous.
→ That means 4 out of the 8 schools actually evaluate you.
FOUR.
And we're not done yet...

Typically, if a player emails 20 schools, those are their FAVORITE SCHOOLS.

Meaning, there's a good chance many of those 20 schools are reach schools (ones they're not fully capable of playing at).
❌ Those schools will not respond.
So the FOUR schools we have left...
We have to cut those down.

You should generally account for a MINIMUM of 50% of schools believing your kid is not good enough for their program.

75% is more accurate for most players.
But we'll be generous.
So take the four schools and cut it in half.
What are we left with?

TWO schools that...

- Need your position and grad class
- Open your email
- Watch your video
- Think you're good enough
And if you're wrong about ANY of those...
That number goes to zero instantly.

Send 20 emails, get zero responses.

It's not "weird."It's math.
And this is what most families do.
There will always be exceptions.
→ But it's a gamble to believe you are the EXCEPTION to the rule.
That's why...

You need both QUANTITY & QUALITY.

→ You need to send a LOT of emails
→ You need to have a strategic email system

Otherwise, you're just wasting your time.

And you'll end up with very little interest & offers.
