What went well?
From feedback:
Participants valued the balance of discussion, sharing, and Q&A
Some gave their positive feedbacks: “Great session and reinforcing,” “Thanks for sharing!”, “Hope the platform can better help coaches get more practical opportunities”
Direct Zoom link drove higher attendance from the Chinese community, easier access than going through the Disco platform
What to improve?
From feedback:
Multiple requests for:
“More discussion on intentional dialogue”
“More discussion about coaching applications”
“Longer Q&A time” to surface more questions and reflections
Create interesting question that doesn’t require to turn on the mic
Remember to take a group photo. Gave a session checklist to the faculties.
When coaches call on participants at random, some feel shy or can’t unmute (e.g. noisy background, technical barriers). We can use Mentimeter to help people to warm up before speaking. It acts as ice breaking. Also, can ensure all participants provide their answer in the chat
Streamline or reconsider use of Disco for joining logistics to reduce sign-up friction
