I really want “texture” of places and clothes.

Look at films that don’t have that texture, in terms of production. I think “sinners” and “Guillmero del toro, Frankenstein”are examples of what I don’t want. I’m not sure what it is about sinners, the stills look ok

Almost all Nolans work has good texture. Analyse why. It’s hard to say.

Even things like, not ironing clothes.
