The Critical Infrastructure Defense Act will prevent citizens from protesting at legislatures or through picket lines. This bill is a direct attack against the Wet’suwet’en solidarity rallies, and will affect peoples’ right to protest and hold their government accountable.

This provincial law will likely lead to an increase in police targeting people of color, silencing people who stand up for Indigenous rights. Furthermore, it will continue to perpetrate a cycle of systemic racism. Help us stand up against racism and defund the police by stopping this act from being passed.
