This section should remain mostly hidden and used on the rare occasion that you need to add a recurring task to the list
[Button pushed by automation] - each task has an associated button that will be pushed by an automation job running at 3 AM PST everyday. This button is configured to only be active when the necessary preconditions to run the task are met e.g. tasks that need to run on Monday will be disabled on other days of the week
[Days of Buffer] - allows you to specify how many days before the due date you want the task to show up in your horizon list. This only applies to weekly, monthly and yearly tasks. By default, all recurring tasks get a 1 day buffer before their due date in order to be added to the horizon list in time for the processing ritual
- tasks that will be added to the horizon list daily. By default, there is 1 daily recurring task. This is the task to run the task processing ritual for the next day. All daily tasks are added 1 day before their due date in order to be in your list in time for the processing ritual
- tasks that will be added to the horizon list at least once a week. Select multiple days of the week to allow your task to run more than once a week. For daily tasks, choose a buffer between 1 and 6.
- tasks that will be added to the horizon list at least once a month. Select multiple days in the month to allow your task to run more than once a month. For monthly tasks, choose a buffer between 1 and 30 (depending on the month - shorter buffers for shorter months).
- tasks that will be added to the horizon list at least once a year. Select the day of the year you will like the task to be run. For yearly tasks, choose a buffer between 1 and 365
