Connection Instructions

1 Connection and calibration instructions Desktop

1.1 Connection

Make sure both glove adapters are connected to the PC. One adapter may not be enough to provide high quality connection with the glove.

To start connecting the glove, click on the “+ Glove” button at the bottom of the screen

The connection window will pop up.

Choose for which hand to connect the glove (right/left) and click the "Connect" button

The “Use previous calibration settings” checkbox allows you to quickly connect the glove with the settings of a previous calibration.

1.2 Calibration for those who ARE able to straighten fingers

For the application to work correctly, calibration must be performed with a straight palm and fingers:

1. Place your hand on any horizontal surface

2. Wait for a beep

⁠

3. Raise your forearm with a straight palm and fingers to 45 degrees

1.3 Calibration for those who ARE NOT able to straighten fingers

If you are unable to straighten your fingers, then you can have someone do the calibration for you, or you can calibrate the glove without wearing it on your hand:

1. Place the glove on the top of the palm of your healthy hand as depicted

2. Wait for a beep

⁠

3. Raise your forearm with a straight palm and fingers to 45 degrees

4. Put on the glove

2.1 Access check

Before connecting the glove, check access to "Nearby Devices" for Android 12, and for Android 11 access to "Geolocation".

Next, check that you have bluetooth enabled on your phone if not you can enable it from the application

After turning on the bluetooth, you will be able to connect the glove. Congratulations!

2.2 Before connecting the glove

Bring the glove closer to the tablet;

If the glove has been stationary for an extended period of time, it goes into standby mode after 1 minute. To bring it back from this mode, you must activate it by moving it slightly. After activation, it wakes up and, after a few seconds, becomes ready for connection.

2.3 Calibration for those who ARE able to straighten fingers

For the application to work correctly, calibration must be performed with a straight palm and fingers:
