Auschwitz among all of the other concentration camps this one was the largest killing center of the 1.3 million people that were taken there 1.1 million were killed by the gas chambers or vile experiments it was liberated in January 27 1945 by the Soviets. One of the most dangerous experiments was conducted by Josef Menegele who was particularly interested in identical twins, people with heterochromia, and people with physical abnormalities this prisoners would be subject to weekly experiments that left most died within 6 weeks.
