How much will Sangat be asked to give in return for our services.
WORK IN PROGESS: Most of the prices listed here are just placeholders for now that need to be finalised.
Income Structure
The following aspects is how we envision the income streams to come from:
These will be the minimum “prices starting from” rate to receive the service. These are individual prices attached to each of Paaths Sangat chooses from. More than one can be selected, and the price just stacks up. View the table below on the prices for each It is loosly based on time needed to complete and amount of available Paathis for each one. This will be paid in advance and added to the Golak sum to be split. Paathis will receive a cut from the Golak total. Any extra “tips” given by Sangat to Paathis directly will be theirs to keep 100% This will be the donations Sangat makes via a Golak placed at the foot of the Shastar Prakash Palki. The income from this will be split amongst the areas listed . Will receive a cut from the Golak total. Whatever the Sangat place in front of the Raagis for their Kirtan will 100% go to the Raagis only to split equally amongst themselves. The Bunga takes no cut for this aspect, as Sangat generally give it to the Kirtanis with the intention of giving it to them and not others. Same system as Raagis and Paathis above. Sangat should be encouraged to “tip” however much value they felt they received from the Vichaars. Again, same system as Vicharaks, Paathis and Raagis. As this is more of a support role, just to make up presence if Sangat requests a specific number of Singhs, the cut won’t be as high, but they will receive a portion of the Golak total for their time and Darshan. Each additional member of the Khalsa requested incurs a fee. Provided by Sangat, so no extra price charged for this by us.
Khalsa Rates
1 Khalsa at least is included in base package. Each additional Khalsa will cost £25.
This does not include Raagis, Paathis and/or Vicharaks. This is only if you want to add more members of the Khalsai, for instance if only 3 Amritdharis are present and you wish for 2 more.
The way the above works is that this is how the income from the Golak will be split amongst each “Item” if a requester has asked for all those services. However, if they for instance choose not to do the Paath, then there would be no need for a Paathi, and so that items percentage is split equally amongst the remaining categories.
If no Paathi:
Bunga Azaadi Cut = 24%
Shastar Rent = 14%
Raagi = 24%
Vichaarak = 24%
Khalsa = 14%
These are splits no matter how many individuals attend per item. So if there is 3 Raagis, but Sangat are asking for 2 more Singhs, then that 10% cut will be shared between those 2.
